What if I cannot take a class I have paid for?
If you alert us one week in advance of the class start date, we can offer you a credit for 50% of the cost of the class to be used toward another class. Otherwise, there are no refunds on classes.

This is not to be punitive, but because we are a small business that makes decisions based on class size and if even a few people add and drop classes each semester, it adds to our workload, and subtracts from our ability to know if a class will make or not, and from our bottom line. We lose money when somebody drops after the first day of class, and it makes it hard to stay afloat.

Email miah@grackleandgrackle.com and let me know exactly what amount of discount or scholarship you need to take the class. For a class that fills up quickly, we only have a couple scholarships, so email early! I always make sure anybody who wants to take a class can take a class.

In a creative writing class it is important that all students are able to share and to speak so the community is strong. If a single student bullies or disrespects other students or the teacher by acting aggresively, by not listening or talking so much others can't engage, Grackle and Grackle reserves the right to ask them to leave, and the class will not be refunded.
