Devote some uninterrupted time to your writing in Grackle and Grackle’s focus-friendly writing space.
Many of you have asked that we open up a weekly hour of writing. We are going to open up three morning to daily writing time. If somebody out there wants to open up a different hour with us, send an email. We’ll write in community three mornings a week — over Zoom right now, but in the future, both on Zoom and in-studio. There will be no prompting, just hellos and goodbyes and some chit chat — but all our faces will be on screen, and we’ll see each other writing.
This class is free to all writers taking classes. If you aren’t in classes this semester but want to write in community, it costs $40 for the semester. Either Miah or Addie will write alongside you, along with the other members of our community who want to commit to a day, time, and each other.
If you could use a calm yet inspiring atmosphere for some completely independent, generative free-writing, this is your chance. Kick off your day with a morning Grackle-scratch session or make the most of your lunch break with a noon writing session.
